We Know Real Estate.
And What Sells It.
Developers, owners, brokers and investors don’t have time for agencies to learn their industry on their time — or their dime. We’ve spent decades building brands for some of the Southeast’s most respected real estate companies — commercial, residential and mixed-use. We know the difference between a cap rate and a brand line. And we know how to market your brand(s) to succeed.

Graham & Company is one of Birmingham’s most respected commercial real estate firms, with more than 10 million square feet of developed properties across Alabama, the Gulf Coast and the Southeast. When the company transitioned to its next generation of leadership, they hired us to help them articulate who they are today — without losing sight of what made them great in the first place.
After dozens of hours of interviews and background research, we found the firm’s brand personality hiding in plain sight: A quiet confidence, rooted in unrivaled expertise, institutional-caliber relationships, and an unwavering commitment to doing the right thing — no matter what. Which is why we built their new brand platform around a single word: Grounded.

Multifamily Residential: Lofts at American Life
Birmingham’s largest Opportunity Zone project needed more than a leasing campaign. It needed a brand — something that would make a long-abandoned 13-story downtown building, with no finished units, feel like somewhere worth waiting for.
Our research indicated that the target audience (urban professionals, 25–34) wanted two things above all: Character and Affordability. So we built our messaging campaign around both. Our brand line, “Find Yourself Here” — paired with the practical descriptor “Affordable Downtown Apartment Living” — gave them permission to believe.
THE RESULTS: Within two weeks of opening, 35% of American Life’s units were leased or pre-leased. Within four months, that number had doubled. Owner Ed Ticheli told us it was the single strongest lease-up he had experienced in his career — which included dozens of projects over several decades.

When Mountain Brook’s Lane Parke was struggling to build an audience, the owners called us in for a full rebrand. The original brand had been designed to reassure Mountain Brook that nothing would change — which was clearly the wrong message for a new development trying to attract shoppers and tenants.
We replaced the old brand with a fresh identity, a new brandline (A Touch Above the Everyday), and a campaign built around energy, discovery and community. Since the time we supported the development’s brand and marketing, Lane Parke has transformed from a decided underperformer into one of the area’s most sought-after retail addresses.
“We’ve been with Lane Parke since the day it opened, but it wasn’t until Hare Communications came on board that this felt like a real center with genuine worth.”

From Brokerage Firms to Family Offices
Our real estate experience goes far beyond these three case studies. We’ve created brand identities for private investment companies and family offices. We’ve developed messaging strategies for multiple Alabama apartment communities. We’ve produced effective print campaigns for title companies and residential brokers. And we’ve helped developers name — and position — properties, from the ground up.
If it involves real property and real people, we know the territory.
Serving the Southeast
We’re based in Birmingham, and most of our real estate clients are within driving distance — but our work reaches further. We serve developers, owners, operators and brokers across Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, the Gulf Coast and beyond. Which is why we believe the best client relationship isn’t defined by zip code, but by trust, shared standards and a genuine commitment to getting things right.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a real estate branding agency actually do?
We help real estate companies — developers, brokers, property owners and investors — define what makes them genuinely different, and appealing to their target markets. We then build the visual identity, messaging and marketing tools that communicate that difference — clearly and consistently. That can mean everything from a new logo and website for a commercial brokerage, to a full-launch campaign for a residential development.
How does branding help a development succeed faster?
Renters and buyers don’t make decisions based on floor plans alone. They also make them based on how a place makes them feel. A strong brand creates an emotional connection before anyone ever sets foot on the property — which means more qualified leads, shorter decision cycles and, ultimately, faster lease-ups.
Do I need a separate brand for my developments and my company?
Often, yes. A development brand (like Lofts at American Life or Lane Parke) speaks directly to end users — renters, shoppers, diners. A corporate brand (like Graham & Company) speaks to investors, partners and institutional clients. They serve different audiences, and require different strategies — even when the underlying values are related.
What's the difference between real estate marketing and real estate branding?
Branding defines who you are, what you stand for, and why your targeted prospects should care.
Marketing takes that brand foundation and activates it — through campaigns, social media, digital advertising and PR. We do both, and we believe you can’t do the second one well without doing the first one right.
